Haley Anderson
Haley Danita Anderson (born November 20, 1991) is an American competitive swimmer who is an Olympic silver medalist. She placed second in the 10-kilometer open water event at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Personal Anderson's older sister, Alyssa, was a swimmer at Arizona. Both sisters competed at the 2009 World Aquatics Championships. Anderson attended the University of Southern California, where she swam for the USC Trojans swimming and diving team in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) competition from 2010 to 2013. Career At the 2009 Junior Pan Pacific Championships, Anderson placed first in the 800-meter and 1,500-meter freestyle events. 2009 World Aquatics Championships
The 2009 World Aquatics Championships ( it, Campionati mondiali di nuoto 2009) or the XIII FINA World Championships were held in Rome, Italy from 18 July to 2 August 2009. The 2009 Championships featured competition in all 5 aquatics disciplines: diving, swimming, open water swimming, synchronised swimming and water polo. Alyssa Jean Anderson (born September 30, 1990) is an American competition swimmer and Olympic gold medalist who represented the United States as the 2012 Summer Olympics. Personal Anderson was born in Santa Clara, California but grew up in Granite Bay. She attended the University of Arizona, where she swam for coach Frank Busch's Arizona Wildcats women's swim team in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) competition from 2008 to 2012. Swimming is an individual or team racing sport that requires the use of one's entire body to move through water. The sport takes place in pools or open water (e.g., in a sea or lake). Competitive swimming is one of the most popular Olympic sports, with varied distance events in butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, freestyle, and individual medley. In addition to these individual events, four swimmers can take part in either a freestyle or medley relay. A medley relay consists of four swimmers who will each swim a different stroke, ordered as backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly and freestyle. Summer Universiade
The Universiade is an international multi-sport event, organized for university athletes by the International University Sports Federation (FISU). The name is a portmanteau of the words "University" and "Olympiad". The Universiade is referred to in English as the World University Games or World Student Games; however, this latter term can also refer to competitions for sub-University grades students. In July 2020 as part of a new branding system by the FISU, it was stated that the Universiade will be officially branded as the FISU World University Games.
