Habibul Islam Bhuiyan
Habibul Islam Bhuiyan Bangladeshi lawyer and politician who was the Minister of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs of Bangladesh. Early life Habibul Islam Bhuiyan was born in Kishoreganj. He passed BA in 1964 and MA in 1966 from Dhaka University. He passed LLB in 1968 from the same university. Career Habibul Islam Bhuiyan Habibul Islam Bhuiyan started his career as a lawyer in 1965. He enrolled as a lawyer in the East Pakistan High Court in 1970 and as a lawyer in the Supreme Court of Pakistan in 1973. He is also registered as a senior lawyer in the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. He was appointed a judge of the High Court Division in 1988. In Ershad's cabinet from 2 May 1990 to 6 December 1990, he served as the Minister of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs of Bangladesh. University Of Dhaka
The University of Dhaka (also known as Dhaka University, or DU) is a public research university located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is the oldest university in Bangladesh. The university opened its doors to students on July 1st 1921. Currently it is the largest public research university in Bangladesh, with a student body of 46,150 and a faculty of 1,992. Moudud Ahmed
Moudud Ahmed (24 May 1940 – 16 March 2021) was a Bangladeshi lawyer and politician. He was a standing committee member of Bangladesh Nationalist Party. Ahmed was elected as a Jatiya Sangsad member total five times from Noakhali-1 and Noakhali-5 constituencies. Ahmed served as the post master general of Bangladesh after independence. From the 1980s on he held numerous political offices for short stints in the Government of Bangladesh, including Deputy Prime Minister (1976–1978 and 1987–1988), Prime Minister of Bangladesh (1988–1989), Vice President of Bangladesh (1989–1990), and Minister of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs (2001–2006). M A Khaleq (1921-2008) was a judge and adviser, with the rank of minister, of Shahabuddin Ahmed caretaker government. Early life Khaleq was born in 1921 in Sonarai, Domar Upazila, Nilphamari District, East Bengal, British India. He graduated from Carmichael College in Rangpur. He completed his masters and law degree from University of Calcutta. Career In 1947, Khaleq joined the judicial branch of the East Pakistan Civil Service. From 1956 to 1966, he was served as the Secretary of East Pakistan Assembly. He then served as Sessions and District Judge. He retired from judicial service 1983. He worked at the Administrative Appellate Tribunal. He was commissioner of the Journalists' Wage Board Commission. He was a member of the Dhaka Shishu Hospital trustee board.
