Hockey- und Tennisclub Uhlenhorst e.V. Mülheim, also known as HTC Uhlenhorst Mülheim, is a German professional field hockey club based in Mülheim, North Rhine-Westphalia. They are one of the most successful German field hockey clubs having won nine EuroHockey Club Champions Cup, European titles between 1988 and 1996. Mülheim, officially Mülheim an der Ruhr () and also described as ''"City on the River"'', is a city in North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany. It is located in the Ruhr Area between Duisburg, Essen, Oberhausen and Ratingen. It is home to many companies, especially in the food industry, such as the Aldi Süd Company, the Harke Group and the Tengelmann Group. Mülheim received its town charter in 1808, and 100 years later the population exceeded 100,000, making Mülheim officially a city. At the time of the city's 200th anniversary with approximately 170,000 residents, it was counted among the smaller cities of Germany. 2017 Men's EuroHockey Indoor Club Cup
The 2017 Men's EuroHockey Indoor Club Cup was the 28th edition of the Men's EuroHockey Indoor Club Cup, Europe's premier club indoor hockey tournament organized by the EHF. It was held from 10 to 12 February 2017 in the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna, Austria. Uhlenhorst Mülheim won their second title by defeating the hosts Arminen 3–2 in the final, Amsterdam took the bronze medal and Grunwald Poznań and Partille were relegated to the Trophy division. Malte Hellwig (born 23 October 1997) is a German field hockey player. Career Club level In club competition, Hellwig plays for Uhlenhorst Mülheim in the German Bundesliga. Junior national team Malte Hellwig made his debut for the German U–21 team in 2016. His first appearance was during a test series against England in Bisham.
