HC Generals Kyiv ''( uk, XK Дженералз Київ)'' is a Ukrainian ice hockey club from Kyiv. The team participates in the Ukrainian Hockey League. History The club was founded in 2011 and folded in 2017. They were playing in the Ukrainian championship the 2013–14 season, finishing on the fifth place and missing the playoffs. In the 2014–15 season, the team finished on the second place during the regular season. In the playoffs, they were losing in two straight games in the semi-final towards ATEK Kyiv. In the 2015–16 season, the team finished on the second place during the regular season. In the playoffs, they were winning in the semi-final over HK Kremenchuk (3-2 in games). The Palace of Sports ( uk, Палац Спорту, ''Palats Sportu'') is an indoor sport-concert complex situated in the center of Kyiv, Ukraine. The complex is an independent state enterprise. The 2013–14 or XXII Ukrainian Hockey Championship was the 22nd annual edition of the Ukrainian Hockey Championship. Following the 2012–13 PHL season, national championship returned under the authority of Ice Hockey Federation of Ukraine (FHU) after two seasons were held by Professional Hockey League (PHL). 2014–15 Ukrainian Hockey Championship
The 2014–15 Ukrainian Hockey Championship was the 23rd season of the Ukrainian Hockey Championship. Only four teams participated in the league this season, because of the instability in Ukraine and that most of the clubs had economical issues. Generals Kiev was the only team that participated in the league the previous season, and the season started first after the year-end of 2014. The regular season included just 12 rounds, where all the teams went to the semifinals. In the final, HK ATEK Kyiv defeated the regular season winner HK Kremenchuk. HK ATEK Kyiv was an ice hockey team in Kyiv, Ukraine. The team played in the Ukrainian Hockey League, the top level of Ukrainian ice hockey. They were founded in 1994, and were Ukrainian champions in 2007. Their last appearance in the Ukrainian Hockey League came during the 2008-09 season. The club was inactive from 2009 to 2014. HC Kremenchuk ( uk, ХК Кременчук) is an ice hockey team based in Kremenchuk, Ukraine, playing in the Ukrainian Hockey Extra League that was formed prior to the 2016–17 season. The club was founded in 2010 and initially competed in Ukrainian amateur championships before joining the Belarusian Vysshaya Liga for 2013–14 season. After finishing the regular 2013–14 season Kremenchuk was forced to withdraw from the league prior to the playoffs due to the political situation in Ukraine.
