Höör Municipality
Höör Municipality (''Höörs kommun'') is a municipality in the central part of Skåne County in southern Sweden. Its seat is located in the town of Höör. The present municipality was formed in 1969 through the merger of "old" Höör with the municipalities of Norra Frosta, Snogeröd and Tjörnarp parish from the dissolved Sösdala Municipality. Geography Höör Municipality credits itself by being different from the rest of Scania: Apart from agricultural areas, Höör Municipality also has several forests and the lake Ringsjön. Ringsjön is the second largest lake in Skåne County and covers some 40 km², about three times the size of the town of Höör. The two main attractions of the municipality that draw visitors are the zoological garden Skånes Djurpark, and the ''Bosjökloster Castle'' established in the 12th century. Stevns Municipality
Stevns is a municipality (Danish, '' kommune'') in Region Sjælland on the southeast coast of the island of Zealand (''Sjælland'') in south Denmark. The municipality covers an area of , and has a population of 22,782 (1 January 2019). The municipality covers most of Stevns Peninsula. Gothic Art
Gothic art was a style of medieval art that developed in Northern France out of Romanesque art in the 12th century AD, led by the concurrent development of Gothic architecture. Romanesque Architecture
Romanesque architecture is an architectural style of medieval Europe characterized by semi-circular arches. There is no consensus for the beginning date of the Romanesque style, with proposals ranging from the 6th to the 11th century, this later date being the most commonly held. Eslöv Municipality
Eslöv Municipality (''Eslövs kommun'') is one of 290 municipalities of Sweden, situated in Skåne County in southern Sweden. Its seat is located in the city of Eslöv. The present municipality was created in 1971, when the former ''City of Eslöv'' was amalgamated with a number of surrounding municipalities, most of them created by the earlier nationwide local government reform in 1952. The municipality has several interesting places. There are 11 castles. Hjularöd's castle was the setting of the Swedish TV classic ''Mystery of Greveholm'' broadcast by SVT. A parish is a territorial entity in many Christian denominations, constituting a division within a diocese. Höör Pond
Höör (formerly spelled Hör, , old da, Hør) is a locality and the seat of Höör Municipality, Skåne County, Sweden with 7,865 inhabitants in 2010. Name The town was previously known as Hørg (in the 12th century), Hørgh (in the 15th century), and later Hør and Hör. The present, unusual spelling with double " ö" was implemented by the Swedish postal service at the beginning of the 20th century. At that time, it was a common practice in Sweden to write (for ''here'') in the address of letters to be delivered within the same town. In order to avoid confusion between letters to be delivered locally and those intended for Hör, the postal service changed the town's name to Höör.
