Club career Hörður started his career with local club HK in 2008, having spent the 2007 season on loan to affiliate club Ýmir. He moved to Stjarnan in the Úrvalsdeild before the 2011 season. In September 2019, at the end of the Icelandic 2019 season, 30-year old Hörður announced his retirement from football. In May 2020, before the Icelandic 2020 season, he decided to start playing again. Hörður Barðdal
Hörður Barðdal (Hordur Barddal) (22 May 1946 in – 4 August 2009) was a competitive water polo player, competitive swimmer, competitive skier, competitive golfer, and a disabled athlete activist. His parents were Óli S. Barðdal, director of Seglagerðin Ægir, and Sesselja Guðnadóttir Barðdal. Óli died in 1983 but Sesselja outlives her son. At the age of nine, Hörður contracted polio, yet he never let his paralysis stop him at either work or play. His athletic achievements and his pioneering work within the sports arena speak of diligence, fighting spirit and positivity that inspired others in the same position with courage and eagerness to stand at an equal footing with able people. During the years 1965–1970, Hörður played water polo with able athletes with Reykjavík F.C (KR) and he won the Reykjavík and Icelandic Championships several times in that area of sports. Hörður Felixson
Hörður Felixson (–) was an Icelandic multi-sport athlete. He was part of the Iceland national football team between 1958 and 1963, playing 11 matches. He was a member of Knattspyrnufélag Reykjavíkur where he won several national championships and Cup titles. Hörður also played handball for several years, both with the Iceland national handball team and KR, where he won the national championship in 1958. Personal life and death Hörður's brothers, Gunnar Felixson and Bjarni Felixson, both played with him on KR and the Icelandic national team. Hörður Torfason
Hörður Torfason (born 4 September 1945) is a noted Icelandic songwriter and activist. He has written plays and poetry, played numerous roles on stage and in several films, directed about 50 stage productions and designed and built stage sets for most of them. Biography Hörður is the son of the couple Torfi Benediktsson and Anna Kristinsdóttir. He is the second oldest of six siblings. Trained as an actor at the drama school of the National Theatre of Iceland in the spring of 1970, he also worked as a director from 1971. With his first album, which he recorded in the summer of 1970 (''Hörður Torfason syngur eigin lög'', 'Hörður Torfason sings his own songs'), he had a tremendous impact on Icelandic music and many took him as a model. Knattspyrnufélagið Hörður, commonly known as Hörður or Hörður Ísafjörður, is an Icelandic multi-sport club from the town of Ísafjörður. It was founded in 1919 as a football club but since 1933 it has fielded other departments, most prominently in handball, track & field, skiing and Icelandic wrestling. History Knattspyrnufélagið Hörður was founded on 27 May 1919 as a football club with Þórhallur Leósson being its first chairman.
