Hörður Felixson
Hörður Felixson (–) was an Icelandic multi-sport athlete. He was part of the Iceland national football team between 1958 and 1963, playing 11 matches. He was a member of Knattspyrnufélag Reykjavíkur where he won several national championships and Cup titles. Hörður also played handball for several years, both with the Iceland national handball team and KR, where he won the national championship in 1958. Personal life and death Hörður's brothers, Gunnar Felixson and Bjarni Felixson, both played with him on KR and the Icelandic national team. In 1963, all three brothers played together for Iceland in two games against England. Bjarni Felixson
Bjarni Felixson (27 December 1936 – 14 September 2023), commonly known as Bjarni Fel, was an Icelandic footballer, sports reporter and commentator. Nicknamed The Red Lion due to his red hair, he won six caps for the Iceland national team between 1962 and 1964. He played for Knattspyrnufélag Reykjavíkur for several seasons, winning the national championship five times and the Icelandic Cup seven times. Following his playing career, he became a sports reporter and commentator for RÚV for 42 years. Playing career From 1956 to 1968, Bjarni played for Knattspyrnufélag Reykjavíkur. Playing as a defender, he was not known as a great offensive threat and only scored two goals during his career. Handball (also known as team handball, European handball, Olympic handball or indoor handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the opposing team. Gunnar Felixson (born 14 March 1940) is an Icelandic former footballer. He was part of the Iceland national football team between 1961 and 1966. He played 7 matches, scoring 2 goals. On club level he played for Knattspyrnufélag Reykjavíkur from 1959 to 1970, winning four national championships and six Cup titles. He participated in KR's first European matches and scored a goal against Liverpool F.C. at the 1964–65 European Cup. Gunnar's brothers, Hörður Felixson and Bjarni Felixson, both played with him on KR and the Icelandic national team.
