Hector Velázquez Martínez (born 5 March 1975) is a Mexican former professional boxer. An over 20-year veteran of the sport, he has challenged twice for a world title; the WBC lightweight title in 2009, and the WBC super featherweight title in 2010. He also held the IBA featherweight title in 2000. Professional career Velázquez began his professional career on 16 December 1993, beating fellow debutant José Guardado. Ricardo "Rocky" Juárez (born April 15, 1980) is an American former professional boxer. He is a former WBC Silver featherweight champion and a multiple-time world title challenger. Juarez was known over his career for his aggressive fighting style and incredible durability; in 11 defeats he was never stopped. Amateur career Juarez had a lustrous amateur career with a 145–17 record, which included a 68 fight winning streak, a Featherweight Olympic silver medal and a Junior Olympic World and National gold medal. Ray Milton Dolby (; January 18, 1933 – September 12, 2013) was an American engineer and inventor of the noise reduction system known as Dolby NR. He helped develop the video tape recorder while at Ampex and was the founder of Dolby Laboratories. Early life and education Dolby was born in Portland, Oregon, the son of Esther Eufemia (née Strand) and Earl Milton Dolby, an inventor. Mario Santiago Figueroa (born July 13, 1978) is a Puerto Rican professional boxer. Santiago debuted as a professional in 2000, and is the current World Boxing Council Caribbean Featherweight Champion. Amateur career Santiago Figueroa started boxing when he was seven years old, in his hometown of Ponce, Puerto Rico. Thomas Dulorme Cordero ( ; born January 29, 1990) is a Puerto Rican professional boxer who challenged for the WBO light welterweight title in 2015. Early life and amateur career Dulorme was born on the island of Saint Martin and lived there until the age of 3, when his family moved to Puerto Rico.
