Håkvik Chapel ( no, Håkvik kapell) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Narvik Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Håkvik. It is one of the churches for the Ankenes parish which is part of the Ofoten prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Sør-Hålogaland. The brown, wooden church was built in a Churches in Norway#Floor plan, long church style in 1980 using plans drawn up by the architect Einar Karstad. The church seats about 180 people. Ankenesstranda or Ankenesstrand (sometimes simply called "Ankenes") is a village in Narvik Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The village is located just west of the town of Narvik and just east of the village of Håkvik. The village lies at the confluence of the large Ofotfjorden and the smaller Beisfjorden. The European route E06 highway runs through the village before crossing the Beisfjord Bridge into the town of Narvik. In 2016, there were about 3,000 inhabitants of the village. European route E6 ( no, Europavei 6, sv, Europaväg 6, or simply E6) is the main north-south thoroughfare through Norway as well as the west coast of Sweden. It is long and runs from the southern tip of Sweden at Trelleborg, into Norway and through almost all of the country north to the Arctic Circle and Nordkapp. The route ends in Kirkenes close to the Russian border. Route From south to north, E6 runs through Trelleborg, Malmö, Helsingborg, Halmstad, Gothenburg, Svinesund in Sweden, before crossing the border at the Svinesund Bridge into Norway. Ofotfjord ( or ) is a fjord in Nordland county, Norway. It is an inlet of the Norwegian Sea, located about north of the Arctic Circle. The long Ofotfjord is Norway's 12th longest fjord and it is also the 18th deepest, with a maximum depth of .
