Hunter Harvey
Hunter Luke Harvey (born December 9, 1994) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Washington Nationals of Major League Baseball (MLB). The Baltimore Orioles selected him with the 22nd pick in the first round of the 2013 Major League Baseball draft. He made his MLB debut in 2019 with the Baltimore Orioles. Career Baltimore Orioles Harvey attended Bandys High School in Catawba, North Carolina. The Baltimore Orioles selected him in the first round of the 2013 Major League Baseball draft. He signed with the Orioles on June 20, 2013, and made his professional debut that season for the Gulf Coast Orioles of the Rookie-level Gulf Coast League. Baltimore Orioles
The Baltimore Orioles are an American professional baseball team based in Baltimore. The Orioles compete in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a member club of the American League (AL) East division. Bowie Baysox
The Bowie Baysox are a Minor League Baseball team located in Bowie, Maryland. They are the Double-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, and play in the Eastern League. Their home ballpark is Prince George's Stadium. History From 1989 to 1992, the Orioles' Double-A affiliate was located in Hagerstown, Maryland and called the Suns. When Major League Baseball added two teams in 1993, bids were offered for two new Triple-A franchises, and the Maryland Baseball Limited Partnership (which owned the Suns and also the Advanced-A Frederick Keys) got into the running to put one of the new franchises in central Maryland. Ulnar collateral ligament reconstruction, colloquially known as Tommy John surgery (TJS), is a surgical graft procedure where the ulnar collateral ligament in the medial elbow is replaced with either a tendon from elsewhere in the patient's body, or with one from a deceased donor. The procedure is common among collegiate and professional athletes in several sports, particularly in baseball. The procedure was devised in 1974 by orthopedic surgeon Frank Jobe, a Los Angeles Dodgers team physician who served as a special advisor to the team until his death in 2014. The South Atlantic League, often informally called the Sally League, is a Minor League Baseball league with teams predominantly in states along the Atlantic coast of the United States from New York to Georgia.
