''Hunt '' is a 2023 Indian Telugu-language action thriller film directed by Mahesh Surapaneni. It stars Sudheer Babu, Srikanth, Bharath. Produced by B. Madhu under Bhavya Creations Division banner, it is based on multiple true incidents that took place in states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The film features music scored by Ghibran, with cinematography by Arul Vincent, and editing by Praveen Pudi. It is a remake of the 2013 Malayalam movie ''Mumbai Police''. ''Mumbai Police'' is a 2013 Indian Malayalam language neo-noir psychological thriller film written by Bobby-Sanjay and directed by Rosshan Andrrews It stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jayasurya, Rahman in the lead roles along with Kunchan, Aparna Nair, Deepa Vijayan, and debutant Hima Davis in supporting roles. Mime Gopi is an Indian stage and film actor who has appeared in predominantly Tamil films including ''Madras'' (2014), ''Kathakali'' (2016), and ''Kabali'' (2016).
