It is approximately south of Evanston, Wyoming and east of Coalville, Utah. The summit has an elevation of . Telecommunications tower Telecommunications and radio broadcasting occupy the mountains summit. It has a single tower near the summit that broadcasts a variety of signals to the surrounding area. The Utah Communications Agency Network (UCAN) operates a transmitter at the location. The United States Forest Service also operates a transmitter on the mountain. Radio stations The following FM radio stations broadcast their main signals from the tower located on Humpy Peak. Three new stations have construction permits to move to the mountain. Summit County is a county in the U.S. state of Utah, occupying a rugged and mountainous area. As of the 2010 United States Census, the population was 36,324. Its county seat is Coalville, and the largest city is Park City. History The county was created by the Utah Territory legislature on January 13, 1854, with its description containing a portion of the future state of Wyoming. It was not organized then but was attached to Great Salt Lake County for administrative and judicial purposes. The county government was completed by March 4, 1861, so its attachment to the other county was terminated. The county boundaries were altered in 1856 and in 1862. Mirror Lake (Uinta Mountains)
Mirror Lake is a lake in the high Uinta Mountains in Utah. It is a popular fishing and recreation spot. The lake contains three species of trout: rainbow, brook, and tiger. The lake has a Forest Service campground, picnic facilities, and a boat ramp for non-motorized watercraft. Access to the lake is by the Mirror Lake Highway, which is only open during the summer (other than by snowmobile). The lake's name comes from the near-perfect reflection of the surrounding mountains and trees seen from a roadside overlook or from the shore. The shoreline is owned by the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest. Mirror Lake includes the adjacent Mirror Lake Campground, with latrines, day-use areas and 94 campsites. State Route 150, also known as the Mirror Lake Highway, is a state highway in the U.S. state of Utah. It is named for Mirror Lake, a picturesque lake that the highway passes along the way. It is also a USDA Forest Service Scenic Byway. Route description The highway begins at the intersection of Main Street ( SR-32) and Center Street in Kamas and heads east on the latter as a two-lane undivided highway. Once exiting Kamas, the route dips southeast and continues as such until reaching Samak, where the road turns northeast briefly. Soon after, the highway turns south and southeast again. KEGH (107.1 FM) is an American radio station broadcasting a Spanish adult contemporary format. It is licensed to Woodruff, Utah, United States, and owned by Michael V. Call, through licensee Aerostar Communications, LLC. In February 2009, KEGH was a simulcast of KEGA, The Eagle 101.5, according to the Simmons Media corporate web site.
