Humphrey Peters
Humphrey Sarfaraz Peters is a Pakistani Protestant bishop. He has served as Bishop of the Diocese of Peshawar since 2011, and from 2017 to 2021, Moderator and Primate in the Church of Pakistan, a United Protestant Church that holds membership in the Anglican Communion, World Methodist Council and World Communion of Reformed Churches. He was part of the original team responsible for envisioning the Anglican Alliance, and has remained closely involved since, as a member of the steering group, and part of the team responsible for appointing the Asia facilitator. He is the former secretary of the development and relief organisation of the diocese. He attended the Anglican Church in North America meeting of the College of Bishops, in Orlando, Florida, at 6–10 January 2014. Anglican Church In North America
The Anglican Church in North America (ACNA) is a Christian denomination in the Anglican tradition in the United States and Canada. It also includes ten congregations in Mexico, two mission churches in Guatemala, and a missionary diocese in Cuba. Headquartered in Ambridge, Pennsylvania, the church reported 974 congregations and 122,450 members in 2021. The first archbishop of the ACNA was Robert Duncan, who was succeeded by Foley Beach in 2014. The ACNA was founded in 2009 by former members of the Episcopal Church in the United States and the Anglican Church of Canada who were dissatisfied with liberal doctrinal and social teachings in their former churches, which they considered contradictory to traditional Anglican belief. Azad Marshall is a Pakistani bishop, currently serving, since May 2021, as the Moderator Bishop of the Church of Pakistan, a United Protestant denomination that is a member of the World Communion of Reformed Churches, the Anglican Communion, and the World Methodist Council. In the past, he was the sixth Bishop of the Anglican Church in the Islamic Republic of Iran, a diocese of the Episcopal Church in Jerusalem and the Middle East in the Anglican Communion, since 2007.
