Human (Stargate Universe)
"Human" is the fourteenth episode of military science fiction television series ''Stargate Universe''. The episode originally aired on April 23, 2010 on Syfy in the United States, and on SPACE in Canada. The episode was directed by series creator, Robert C. Cooper and was written by Jeff Vlaming. The episode focuses on Dr. Rush working on modifying the chair interface, so that he can use it in an attempt to gain access to the master code while replaying the memories during his wife's dying days. The episode was viewed by 1.3 million Americans and was generally well received. Plot Dr. Nicholas Rush (Robert Carlyle) uses the Ancient repository chair, which was previously used by Jeremy Franklin, who almost died using it. Rush devises a program which allows the chair to download the information slowly, and works out how to crack the master code to finally gain control of ''Destiny''. Stargate Universe
''Stargate Universe'' (often abbreviated as ''SGU'') is a military science fiction television series and part of MGM's ''Stargate'' franchise. It follows the adventures of a present-day, multinational exploration team traveling on the Ancient spaceship ''Destiny'' several billion light years distant from the Milky Way Galaxy. They are now trying to figure out a way to return to Earth, while simultaneously trying to explore and to survive in their unknown area of the universe. The series, created by Brad Wright and Robert C. Cooper, premiered in the United States on Syfy on October 2, 2009. The series featured an ensemble cast and was primarily filmed in and around Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. A second season of 20 episodes was announced by Syfy in December 2009. Louis Ferreira (born Luís Ferreira; born 20 February 1966) is a Canadian actor. Ferreira is known for his roles in ''Stargate Universe'' as Colonel Everett Young, serial killer Ray Prager in the first season of '' Durham County'', FBI Assistant Director John Pollock in ''Missing'', and Art Blank in ''Saw IV'', ''Saw V'', and ''Saw 3D''. This is a list of characters in ''Stargate Universe'', an American-Canadian military science fiction serial drama which made its premiere on October 2, 2009, on the Syfy channel. Main characters Nicholas Rush Nicholas Rush (portrayed by Robert Carlyle) is an expert in Ancient technology. His research was hindered while he was married to Gloria Rush (Louise Lombard). Will Waring
William Michael "Will" Waring is a camera operator and director, primarily for ''Stargate SG-1'' and ''Stargate Atlantis''. He attended the Film Production course at the Theatre department of the University of British Columbia, where he developed the "WillyCam", a mechanical camera stabilisation device.
