Hum Award For Best Actress
The Hum Award for Best Actress is an award presented annually by the Hum Television Network and Entertainment Channel (HTNEC). It is given in honor of an actress who has delivered an outstanding performance in a leading role while working within the Television industry. The 1st Hum Awards (for 2012) was held in 2013 with Mahira Khan winning the award, who was honored for her role in ''Shehr-e-Zaat''. The award has commonly been referred to as the hum for Best Actress Jury or Best Drama Actress Jury. Currently, nominees are determined by single transferable vote, within the actors and jury branch of HTNEC; winners are selected by a plurality vote from the entire eligible voting members of the Hum. This awards is equivalent to the Hum Award for Best Actress Popular, which is given in the ceremony but winners are only selected by viewers voting's. Hum Awards are annual Pakistani accolades bestowed by the Hum Network Limited in recognition of excellence in programming of television, fashion and music industry of Pakistan. ''Meray Qatil Meray Dildar'' ( ur, , lit=My murderer my beloved) also written as ''Mere Qatil Mere Dildar '' is a Pakistani teledrama broadcast on Hum TV. Hum TV is a 24-hour Urdu General Entertainment TV channel based in Karachi, Pakistan. It was founded by Sultana Siddiqui and Duraid Qureshi. It is owned by Hum Network Limited and traded on Pakistan Stock Exchange as (HUMNL). Hum Network Limited was known as ''Eye Television Network Limited'' prior to 21 January 2011. Samina Peerzada
Samina Peerzada (, Punjabi, ) is a film and television actress, producer and director from Pakistan. 2nd Hum Awards
The 2nd Hum Awards ceremony, presented by the Hum Television Network and Entertainment Channel (HTNEC), sponsored by Servis and Telenor Talkshawlk, honored the best in fashion, music and Hum Television Dramas of 2013. The ceremony took place on 29 March 2014 at Expo Center in Karachi, Sindh beginning at 7:30 PST. The ceremony was recorded and was broadcast on 25 May 2014. During the ceremony, Hum Television Network and Entertainment Channel presented awards in 29 regular categories along with 2 in honorary and 1 in special category. The ceremony was televised in Pakistan by Hum TV, while Servis returned as a main sponsor of the show. Savera Nadeem ( pa, ) is a Pakistani actress, producer and director. Primarily known for her work in television, she also acted in theatre and films. Nadeem is the recipient of a Lux Style Award for Best Television Actress out of five nominations. Early life Savera Nadeem was born in 1974 to Kashmiri family in Lahore.
