Hulla (film)
''Hulla'' ( hi, हल्ला, English: Noise) is a 2008 Bollywood film directed by Jaideep Varma, and starring Sushant Singh, Rajat Kapoor, Kartika Rane, Vrajesh Hirjee, Darshan Jariwala and Ravi Jhankal. The film was produced by Suniel Doshi, under Reliance Big Pictures and HandMade Films. Upon release, the film performed much better than expected at the box office. Expectations for the film were low, and it opened to a below-average opening. However, due to positive reviews and strong word-of-mouth, the film picked up in many places and sustained well. The film was declared a poor performer at the box office. Plot Raj (Sushant Singh), an aggressive stock-broker in a prosperous broking firm and Abha (Kartika Rane), a marketing professional are a couple in their early-thirties. Jaideep Varma
Jaideep Varma is an Indian writer, screenwriter and filmmaker. He has made 5 feature films – ''Hulla'' (2008, fiction), ''Leaving Home – the Life & Music of Indian Ocean'' (2010, non-fiction), '' Baavra Mann – a Film on Sudhir Mishra & Other Indian Realities'' (2013, non fiction)., I Am Offended! (2015, non fiction) and Par Ek Din (2017, non fiction). The last three films were made part-time, and therefore on a limited scale. Darshan Jariwala (born 29 September 1958) is an Indian actor who works in Hindi films, television and stage. He won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor for ''Gandhi, My Father''. Rajat Kapoor (born 11 February 1961) is an Indian actor, filmmaker and playwright who works in Hindi cinema. Kapoor was born in Delhi, India. He mainly focused on acting at first.
