Hristo Smolenov
Hristo Smolenov is a Bulgarian scientist, logician and antiterrorism expert, born 1954 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. In 2007 was revealed as associated with the communist secret services. Academic career After graduating from the Moscow State University he became a guest professor at the University of Montreal and at the Catholic University of America in Washington. He is an associate professor at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. As a specialist in logic and methodology of science he has long been involved in creative solutions in non-standard situations. Plovdiv
Plovdiv ( bg, Пловдив, ), is the second-largest city in Bulgaria, standing on the banks of the Maritsa river in the historical region of Thrace. It has a population of 346,893 and 675,000 in the greater metropolitan area. Plovdiv is the cultural capital of Bulgaria and was the European Capital of Culture in 2019. It is an important economic, transport, cultural, and educational center. Plovdiv joined the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities in 2016. The Ministry of Defence ( bg, Министерство на отбраната, ''Ministerstvo na otbranata'') of Bulgaria is the Ministry (government department), ministry charged with regulating the Bulgarian Armed Forces.
