Howrah–Hatia Express
The 18615 / 16 Kriya Yoga Express, formerly known as Howrah–Hatia Express is an Express train belonging to Indian Railways – South Eastern Railway zone that runs between & in India. It operates as train number 18615 from Howrah Junction to Hatia Junction and as train number 18616 in the reverse direction, serving the states of West Bengal & Jharkhand. According to South Eastern Railways officials, It will run with modern LHB coach from 19 August 2019. On the first International Day of Yoga, on 21 June 2015, Kriya Yoga Express name was adopted for this train to commemorate the contributions of Kriya Yoga master Paramahansa Yogananda in spreading yoga world-wide. This train had been instrumental in the life and spiritual journey of Paramahansa Yogananda. Indian Locomotive Class WAP-7
The Indian locomotive class WAP-7 is a class of 25 kV AC electric locomotives that was developed in 1999 by Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW) for Indian Railways. The model name stands for broad gauge (W), AC Current (A), Passenger traffic (P) engine, 7th generation (7). They entered service in 2000. A total of 1424 WAP-7 have been built, with more units being built at CLW, Banaras Locomotive Works (BLW) and Patiala Locomotive Works (PLW). Paramahansa Yogananda (born Mukunda Lal Ghosh; January 5, 1893March 7, 1952) was an Indian Hindu monk, yogi and guru who introduced millions to the teachings of meditation and Kriya Yoga through his organization Self-Realization Fellowship (SRF) / Yogoda Satsanga Society (YSS) of India, and who lived his last 32 years in America.
