Howard Walker (politician)
Howard Walker (born December 10, 1954) is a Republican politician from Michigan who served a term in the Michigan Senate after serving three terms in the Michigan House of Representatives. Prior to his election to the Legislature, Walker had a career in the oil and gas industry and later started and owned a land surveying business. In August 2013, Walker announced his intention not to seek a second term in the Senate. Michigan's 37th Senate District
Michigan's 37th Senate district is one of 38 districts in the Michigan Senate. The 37th district was created with the adoption of the 1963 Michigan Constitution, as the previous 1908 state constitution only permitted 34 senatorial districts. It has been represented by Republican John Damoose since 2023, succeeding fellow Republican Wayne Schmidt. Jason Allen is an American politician. He served as a Republican member of the Michigan House of Representatives from 1999 to 2002 and a member of the state senate from 2003 to 2010. He represented the 37th district, which includes Grand Traverse, Antrim, Charlevoix, Emmet, Cheboygan, Presque Isle, Chippewa and Mackinac Counties.
