Armenian Orthography Reform
The Armenian orthography reform occurred between 1922 and 1924 in Soviet Armenia and was partially reviewed in 1940. Its main features were neutralization of classical etymological writing and the adjustment of phonetic realization and writing. This orthographic reform is not to be confused or associated with the 13th century alphabet extension introducing letters and . Hovhannes Hambardzumyan ( hy, Հովհաննես Համբարձումյան; born 4 October 1990) is an Armenian professional footballer who plays as a right back for Cypriot club Anorthosis and the Armenia national football team. Club career Hambardzumyan was a student of the football school Banants Yerevan, becoming one of the children of the club. Initially he played in the first division for Banants-2. Hovhannes Vasily Hakhverdyan ( hy, Հովհաննես Հախվերդյան; russian: Ованес Ахвердян, Иван Васильевич Ахвердов) (29 July 1873 – 28 April 1931) was the first Minister of Defence of the First Republic of Armenia from 15 April 1918 to 27 March 1919. Hovhannes Erznkatsi ( hy, Յովհաննէս Երզնկացի — John of Erznka or Erzinjan) ( 1230– 1293) was an Armenian scholar and philosopher. He was nicknamed Blouz, probably because of his short stature.
