Housseïni Amion Guindo, “Poulo” (born April 21, 1970) is a Malian politician. He is the current Minister of Sport since 12 April 2014. He has been elected member of parliament in 2005 and 2010 to represent the Sikasso Cercle. In 2011, he is designated to represent the CODEM party and the PUR (Partis Unis pour la République) party coalition for the 2012 presidential election. Biography Born on April 21, 1970, in Bandiagara in the Mopti Region, he is married to Aminata Guindo. Muslim, he is the father of four: Boubacar, Ali, Awa and Maya. He obtains his baccalauréat in 1991 at Monseigneur Didier de Montclos High School in Sikasso then joins the Bamako ENSup where he gets a Master's degree in Humanities in 1997. The Malian Football Federation (french: Fédération Malienne de Football, FMF) is the governing body of football in Mali. Founded in 1960, it joined the CAF in 1962 and has been affiliated with FIFA since 1964. Its first general secretary was Garan Fabou Kouyate. Famous leaders are Amadou Diakite and Tidiane Niambele. Malian Première Division (French language, French: ''Première division malienne'') is the top division of Association football, football in Mali. Having been created in 1966, it is governed by the Malian Football Federation. The league has been professional since 2004. The official name is Ligue 1 Orange Mali for sponsorship reasons. The season usually runs from December to late August. The league currently consists of twenty clubs split into two pools and features a round-robin home-and-away schedule within each pool. The top two in each pool qualify for the Championship Play-Off (''Carré d'As''), which involves a round-robin between the four teams. 2013 Malian Presidential Election
Presidential elections were held in Mali on 28 July 2013, with a second round run-off held on 11 August. Ibrahim Boubacar Keïta defeated Soumaïla Cissé in the run-off to become the new President of Mali. Background According to Constitution of Mali, the 1992 constitution, elections should have taken place in 2012. The first round was originally scheduled for 29 April, and the second round scheduled for 13 May. The first round was also planned to include a referendum on revising the constitution. The Rally for Mali (French language, French: ''Rassemblement pour le Mali'') is a Malian political party created by Ibrahim Boubacar Keïta (a former president of Mali) in June 2001.
