Housefull (2010 Film)
''Housefull'' is a 2010 Indian Hindi-language comedy drama film directed by Sajid Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, The film is partly adapted from the 1998 Tamil drama ''Kaathala Kaathala''. The dialogues were done by Anvita Dutt, while Nadiadwala wrote the storyline and Rameshwar S. Bhagat served as the editor. It became the first installment of the ''Housefull'' franchise. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Arjun Rampal, Riteish Deshmukh, Deepika Padukone, Lara Dutta and Jiah Khan. The supporting cast consists of Boman Irani, Chunky Pandey, Randhir Kapoor, Lillete Dubey and Malaika Arora, with Jacqueline Fernandez featured in an item number. It was shot across London and Italy on a budget of . The film marked the last screen appearance of Khan, who died three years after its release on 3 June 2013. Sajid Khan (director)
Sajid Kamran Khan (born 23 November 1970) is an Indian film director, television presenter, comedian and an actor who works in the Bollywood film industry. He is the brother of choreographer Farah Khan. He is best known for the ''Housefull'' film series, ''Heyy Babyy'' (2007), '' Himmatwala'' (2013) and ''Humshakals'' (2014). Khan also served as a judge on the Indian reality television show ''Nach Baliye''. Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy () is an Indian musical trio consisting of Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa. ''Housefull'' is an Indian comedy film series. The series stars Akshay Kumar and Ritesh Deshmukh in all the films. The first two films '' Housefull'' and ''Housefull 2'' were directed by Sajid Khan. The third film, ''Housefull 3'', was directed by Sajid-Farhad and fourth film ''Housefull 4'' was directed by Farhad Samji. The series is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. Each film starts with a fresh story unrelated with the preceding film's story.
