Hossein Lashkari
Hossein Lashkari ( fa, حسین لشکری), known as "Seyyed-al-Usara of Iran" (i.e. the master of Iranian captives) (Persian: سیدالاسراء ایران), (born in 1953, died in 2009), is an Iranian pilot who was captured within Iran-Iraq War, and became free after passing 18 years in captivity in Iraq. He died on 10 August 2009 owing to complications caused by his captivity. Life Hossein Lashkari who is also known as "Shahid-Lashkari" (Martyr-Lashkari) was born in the village of Zia-Abad in the city of Qazvin. This Iranian pilot passed his elementary education in Zia-Abad and departed to the capital of Qazvin province. He departed to 77-Khorasan Division to do his military service after getting his diploma-degree in 1971. Later on, he entered the Imperial Iran Air Force in 1975. Ziaabad
Ziaabad ( fa, ضياءآباد, also Romanized as Ẕīā’ābād, Ẕeyā’ābād, and Zīya Abad; formerly, Shahr-e Shaqayeq (Persian: شَهرِ شَقايِق), also Romanized as Shahr-e Shaqāyeq) is a city and capital of Ziaabad District, in Takestan County, Qazvin Province, Iran. United Nations Security Council Resolution 598
United Nations Security Council resolution 598 S/RES/0598 (1987), (UNSC resolution 598) adopted unanimously on 20 July 1987, after recalling Resolution 582 and 588, called for an immediate ceasefire between Iran and Iraq and the repatriation of prisoners of war, and for both sides to withdraw to the international border. The resolution requested the Secretary-General to dispatch a team of observers to monitor the ceasefire while a permanent settlement was reached to end the conflict. It became effective on 8 August 1988, ending all combat operations between the two countries and the Iran–Iraq War. Aparat ( fa, آپارات, ') is an Iranian video-sharing service which began tentatively in February 2011, and officially two months later on April 13, 2011. In 2020, due to the activity of one of the users of Aparat, its CEO was sentenced to ten years in prison. He has since been released.
