Hossein Kazemi
Hossein Kazemi ( fa, حسین كاظمی, born October 3, 1979 in Tehran, Iran) is retired Iranian football player who last played for Aluminium in Azadegan League. He has also featured in an episode of a TV serie in Iran, with former Esteghlal team-mate, Ali Ansarian. Club career After starting his career at his hometown club Saipa, he later moved to Pro League rivals Esteghlal He was an on-and-off player during the 2004–05 season, but became a pivotal part in the season and won a fixed spot in stacked midfield. He has scored a number of important goals for Esteghlal. After the 2006–07 season, he moved from Esteghlal to rivals Sepahan. He remained at Sepahan for the 2007–08 season before return to Esteghlal. With Sepahan, he reached the 2007 AFC Champions League final in which Sepahan was defeated. His good performances have earned him a number of caps in Team Melli. Tehran

2007 AFC Champions League
The 2007 AFC Champions League was the 26th edition of the top-level Asian club football tournament and the 5th edition under the current AFC Champions League title. Japanese side Urawa Red Diamonds became champions for the first time, beating Sepahan of Iran and becoming the fourth Japanese club to win the Asian championship, and qualified for the 2007 FIFA Club World Cup. Asian Football Confederation
The Asian Football Confederation is the governing body of association football, beach soccer, and futsal in some countries/territories in Asia and Oceania. It has 47 member countries most of which are located in Asia. Australia, formerly in Oceania Football Confederation, OFC, joined AFC in 2006. Hazfi Cup
Hazfi Cup (Jām-e Hazfi; ) is the Iranian football knockout cup competition, run by the Iranian Football Federation. The Iranian football league was not held during the 1980s, hence the winner of Hazfi Cup represented Iran in the Asian Club Championship. After the revive of the league system, the champion of Iranian league qualified for Asian Club Championship and the winner of Hazfi Cup ran for Asian Cup Winners' Cup. However, the Asian Cup Winners' Cup merged with the Asian Champions Cup in 2002–03 to form the AFC Champions League and Iran had been initially given two (and later four) slots in this competitions. The IRIFF decided to award one of Iran's AFC Champions League spots to the winner of the Hazfi Cup, and since then, the winners of Hazfi Cup have always been allocated a spot in the AFC Champions League. 2011 AFC Asian Cup
The 2011 AFC Asian Cup was the 15th edition of the men's AFC Asian Cup, a quadrennial international football tournament organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). The finals were held in Qatar from 7 to 29 January 2011. It was the fifteenth time the tournament has been held, and the second time it has been hosted by Qatar, the other being the 1988 AFC Asian Cup. Abdolsamad Marfavi ( fa, صمد مرفاوی , born May 18, 1964 in Khorramshahr, Iran) is an Iranian football coach and former player. Club career He played the majority of his playing career for IPL giants Esteghlal. International career Marfavi debuted for the Iranian national team against Kuwait on February 27, 1987. He scored 11 goals in 31 appearances for Iran. Managerial career He was Esteghlal's assistant coach from 2003 until 2006 when he was replaced with Amir Ghalenoei who was appointed as the Iran national football team coach in August 2006 just one month before the season starts. He had a good season result till 27th week of the season and Esteghlal was in first place but the last three weeks of the season was a distastor for him where he only earned one point out of 3 home matches and finished fourth.
