Horton Park, Blenheim
Horton Park is a cricket ground in Blenheim, Marlborough, New Zealand. The ground is on Redwood Street, on the southern edge of Blenheim's central business district. The reserve, formerly known as the Domain, was named Horton Park in 1907 after Thomas Horton, the local who had ensured the use of the land as a recreational reserve in the late 19th century. The Marlborough cricket team moved its home ground to Horton Park in late 1919 after the nearby Wairau club's ground was sold for development. The first club match there took place on 22 November 1919. Marlborough played for the first time there a month later, a match against the Thorndon club from Wellington. Horton Park held its first first-class match in December 1972 when Central Districts played Northern Districts in the 1972/73 Plunket Shield. Over the following thirty years, Central Districts played nine further first-class matches there, the last of which came against Auckland in the 2002/03 State Championship. ...

Horton Park, Bradford
Horton Park is a public park in Bradford, England, located to the west of the city in Great Horton Great Horton is a ward of the City of Bradford, West Yorkshire, England, with a population of 17,683 at the 2011 Census. Great Horton is west of Bradford and east of the village of Clayton and also includes Scholemore, Paradise Green, Lidget .... It was opened on 25 May 1878 on land purchased by Bradford Council in 1873. The park was designed by William Gay landscape gardener and surveyor. The park provides bowling greens, and a children's play area, as well as floral decorations. Bradford Council retain ownership of the park but, the park is primarily looked after by Glendale on contract. The bowling greens are open to the public from April to September each year. Park Avenue (stadium)
Park Avenue is a sports ground on Horton Park Avenue in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England that has been used for cricket, football and both codes of rugby. Yorkshire regularly played cricket matches at the ground between 1881 and 1996, while the site was also home to former Football League club Bradford (Park Avenue), to which it lent its name. The cricket pitch remains intact, but the adjoining football stadium has been demolished and replaced with a gym and cricket nets. When the ground was at its peak both the adjacent grounds shared a now-demolished double-sided grandstand designed by noted football architect Archibald Leitch, similar to the joint rugby-and-cricket grounds at Headingley Stadium in nearby Leeds. Horton Park Railway Station
Horton Park railway station was a railway station on the Queensbury-Bradford section of the Queensbury Lines which ran between Bradford, Keighley and Halifax via Queensbury. The station was built near to the Bradford Park Avenue football ground. It opened for passengers in 1880 closed for regular passenger trains in 1952 but remained open to special trains on match days until 1955. Horton Park Golf Club
The Horton Park Golf Club was the only golf club located in central Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast in South East Queensland, Australia. The club was situated next to Sunshine Plaza shopping centre and was established in 1950. On the 20 July 1950, the minutes of the first meeting were signed by the President Mr W Coffey. The first building, a shed and an outhouse were purchased and erected in 1952. After the council reclaimed the land, the club moved to a new site in Bli Bli, on the north bank of the Maroochy River, and is now renamed as the Maroochy River Golf Club.
