Horta () is a municipality and city in the Portuguese archipelago of the Azores encompassing the island of Faial. The population in 2011 was 15,038 in an area of The city of Horta itself has a population of about 7,000. The Horta of Valencia ( va, L'Horta de València; es, Huerta de Valencia) is a historical comarca and urban area of Valencian Community. The Horta of Valencia consists of Valencia and three comarcas: Horta Nord, Horta Sud, Horta Oest. Demography It is the most populated region of País Valencià. The Horta of Valencia experienced the largest increase in population, especially as an immigrant receiver. Horta Airport
Horta Airport is an airport located in the parish of Castelo Branco, southwest of the center of Horta, on Faial Island in the archipelago of the Azores. The airport was remodeled and reinaugurated in December 2001, in order to serve the islands of the Central Group (Terceira, Graciosa, São Jorge, Pico and Faial), as well as expanded to support domestic connectivity to Lisbon. It is an important economic tool in the economy of the region, and vital connection to the smaller aerodromes in the outlying islands. The District of Horta was a district of the (Adjacent Islands, the former collective name for the Azores and Madeira), consisting of the dependent western islands of the Azores, located in the Atlantic Ocean. The district of Horta, not to be confused with the modern municipality of Horta, existed from 1836 until 1976 when it was abolished in favour of the autonomy charter of the 1975 Portuguese Constitution. History Officially referred to as the (Autonomous District of Horta) since 31 December 1940, it was originally established after the Liberal administrative reforms of Mouzinhos da Silveira on 28 March 1836. Horta premetro station is a stop on the Brussels Metro. It is located on the north–south Brussels premetro line in the Saint-Gilles commune of the Brussels capital region, Belgium. Horta () is a station in the Barcelona metro network, served by L5, located under carrer de Lisboa, in the Horta-Guinardó district of Barcelona. It was opened in 1967, when an extension of the line into the neighbourhood of the same name from Vilapicina was opened. The partially curved island-platform station has a ticket hall at either end, one with two accesses, the other with one.
