Horacio Villalobos
Horacio Villalobos (born Horacio Aquiles Villalobos Velasco in 1970) is a Mexican TV host and actor, who currently serves on the judging panel of the renowned Mexican reality musical talent TV series ''La Academia.'' Biography Born in Mexico in 1970, he comes from a family of lawyers and politicians. Villalobos is of Indigenous Oaxacan and Spanish descent. He is the grandson of Antonio Villalobos, who was the attorney general for president Lazaro Cardenas. XHEXA-FM is a Spanish & English Top 40 (CHR) radio station that serves Mexico City and states surrounding the federal district. Broadcasting on 104.9 MHz, XHEXA-FM is owned by MVS Radio and is the flagship station of the Exa FM format. History XHBST-FM signed on in 1974, owned by the same Stereorey consortium that brought FM to major Mexican cities on stations such as XHV-FM 102.5 Mexico City and XHSRO-FM in Monterrey. It carried the "Stereo Best" format, which was very similar. Not long after, it changed formats completely to "FM Globo", a name it would use with varying formats including romantic music, Spanish pop and contemporary music. XEX-AM (730 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station based in Mexico City, Mexico. It carries a sports radio format known as "W Deportes." The station is owned by Radiópolis. XEX is a Class A clear-channel station, powered at 60,000 watts and using a non-directional antenna. The transmitter is on Avenida Rio Bravo, in Los Reyes Acaquilpan, just east of Mexico City. History XEX-AM came to air in 1947 as a 500,000 watt national radio station. The Mexican government built XEX with the transmitter equipment of the former XERA at Villa Acuña, Coahuila, whose 500 kW transmitter was seized, dismantled and shipped to Mexico City.
