Horace Pike
Horace Pike (17 December 1869 – 1936) was an English footballer who played in the Football League for Loughborough and Nottingham Forest. Pike made his debut for Forest in the FA Cup second round replay against Chatham Town on 23 February 1889 which ended in a 2-2 draw. In the second replay 5 days later, Pike scored his first Forest goal. Keyworth
Keyworth is a large Village of Nottinghamshire, England. It is located about 6 miles (11 km) southeast of the centre of Nottingham. It sits on a small, broad hilltop about 200 feet above sea level which is set in the wider undulating boulder clay that characterises the area south of Nottingham. Keyworth is twinned with the French town of Feignies. Demographics A 2001 census which was conducted indicates that the civil parish had a population of 6,920, reducing to 6,733 at the 2011 census. Arthur Pike
Arthur Pike (25 December 1862 – 15 November 1907) was an English first-class cricketer active 1894–1901 who played for Nottinghamshire as a wicketkeeper. He was born and died in Keyworth. Arthur Pike was a member of the Pike family from Keyworth which produced cricketers and footballers. These included Harry Pike and Horace Pike. On 4 January 1890, Horace, Arthur and Harry all played in the same Nottingham Forest side in a home match against Sheffield Wednesday. Forest lost 3-1. Cricket Pike played cricket as a Wicket-keeper. Before playing for Nottinghamshire, he played for Keyworth CC, Nottingham Commercial CC, Notts Manufacturing CC and Leyland CC in Lancashire. Goodison Park is a football stadium in the Walton area of Liverpool, England. It has been the home stadium of Premier League club Everton F.C. since its completion in 1892. Located in a residential area 2 miles (3 km) north of Liverpool city centre, it has an all-seated capacity of 39,414. Football League
The English Football League (EFL) is a league of professional football clubs from England and Wales. Founded in 1888 as the Football League, the league is the oldest such competition in the world. It was the top-level football league in England from its foundation until 1992, when the top 22 clubs split from it to form the Premier League. The EFL is divided into the Championship, League One and League Two, with 24 clubs in each division, 72 in total, with promotion and relegation between them; the top Championship clubs change places with the lowest-placed clubs in the Premier League, and the bottom clubs of League Two with the top clubs of the National League.
