Hope 7
Hope 7 was a pop rock band that performed together from 2002 to 2005. The band members consisted of Kristi McClave (lead singer), Dave Noble (guitarist), Chevy Martinez (bassist), and Chase Duddy (drummer). Early years Performing since the age of six, McClave was discovered by record producer Rodney Jerkins. McClave was then chosen by Antonina Armato and Tim James to be a featured vocalist for the pop group 3Gs. They later recorded the song "Crush" for ''The Princess Diaries'' soundtrack. However, finding the right mix of singers for the group proved difficult, and 3Gs eventually disbanded. McClave continued to work with some of the same producers, leading to a more rock-oriented sound. McClave provided the track, "Breakthrough", for the '' Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde'' soundtrack. Pop Rock

Trauma Records was a Los Angeles-based independent record label created in 1993 by Paul Palmer and Rob Kahane. Trauma Records had a joint venture agreement with Interscope Records that included financing and distribution through Interscope Records. Trauma signed and developed bands such as Bush (British band), Bush, No Doubt, Phunk Junkeez, and The Flys (US band), The Flys. In 1997, Trauma sued Interscope for $100 million when Interscope laid claim to No Doubt's contract, which Trauma asserted had been transferred to Trauma in 1995. The suit was settled out of court, allowing Trauma to retain the group's recording rights and obtain $3 to $5 million in cash. Trauma's Bush catalogue was transferred to Kirtland Records in 2005. ''Hope 7'' is the self-titled debut album from the pop rock band Hope 7. The album was released on March 15, 2005, and is the band's only album release to date. The tracks on this album were mainly written by Antonina Armato and Tim James (with the exception of tracks 3, which was written by Aaron Dudley and track 7 (which was written by Kristi McClave (the band's lead vocalist) and Dave Noble (Hope 7's guitarist). McClave also collaborated on the writing of track 8. The album spawned one single, Breakthrough, which appeared on the Disney Channel.
