Hongik University High School
Hongik University College of Education Affiliated High School (), commonly known as Hongik University High School (), is a high school for boys in Seongbuk District, Seoul, South Korea. It is part of a system of schools affiliated with Hongik University. History The school was originally Seongbuk Middle and High School, educating students from ages 13 to 19. Its origins actually date to the Japanese colonial era and was known Gyeongseong Foreign Language Academy, Gyeongseong being the old name of Seoul. In 1969, in line the "3+3" policy implemented by the government, the middle school and high school were split into separate schools. Both schools were incorporated into the Hongik Foundation (홍익학원) in 1970 and renamed accordingly to reflect its status as schools affiliated with Hongik University. The Korean Basketball League (KBL; ) is a professional men's basketball league in South Korea which was established in 1997. The league consists of ten teams and each team plays a total of 54 games (27 home and 27 away) in the regular season. History The Korean Basketball League was established in 1997. Lim Dong-seob (born August 29, 1990) is a South Korean basketball player former team Seoul Samsung Thunders and present Changwon LG Sakers and the South Korean national team. Early life Lim began playing basketball in elementary school but was a guard as he was one of the shortest members in the team. He went on to Hongik University High School. Lee Sang-min (born 11 November 1972) is a South Korean retired professional basketball player and basketball coach. He was part of the team at the 1994 Asian Games, 1996 Summer Olympics, 1998 Asian Games and 2002 Asian Games.
