Honeymoon (1956 Film)
''Honeymoon'' (russian: Медовый месяц, Medovyy mesyats) is a 1956 Soviet comedy film directed by Nadezhda Kosheverova. Plot Lyuda Odintsova, a graduate of the medical institute, called for engineer Aleksei Rybalchenko to stay in Leningrad after distribution. But unexpectedly, Aleksei agreed to work in Siberia, and poor Lyudochka had to follow her husband to a Siberian construction site and begin her working career as a doctor in a tiny medical center of a working village. Nadezhda Kosheverova
Nadezhda Nikoleyevna Kosheverova (); 10 September 1902 22 February 1989) was a Soviet film director and screenwriter who specialized in children's films. Life Kosheverova was born in St. Petersburg to Nikolai Kosheverov, a merchant with a house on Sergievskaya Street. As a girl she was fond of dolls and puppets, which she explained as her inspiration for entering the world of cinema: "The cinema is like a puppet theater, because a lot of people work on creating the film, and the viewer sees only what they are supposed to see." In 1923 she graduated from the acting school of the Bolshaya Komediya Theater and until 1928 worked as an actress in the theaters of Leningrad, including at Leningrad Comedy Theatre under Nikolay Akimov. Zoya Fyodorova
Zoya Alekseyevna Fyodorova (russian: Зоя Алексеевна Федорова; 11 December 1981) was a Russian film star who had an affair with American Navy captain Jackson Tate in 1945 and bore a child, Victoria Fyodorova in January 1946. Having rejected the advances of NKVD police head Lavrentiy Beria, the affair was exposed resulting, initially, in a death sentence later reprieved to work camp imprisonment in Siberia; she was released after eight years. She was murdered in her Moscow apartment in 1981.
