Seijirō Kōyama
(born 16 July 1941) is a Japanese film director. Career Born in Gifu Prefecture, Kōyama attended Nihon University but quit midway to join the independent production company Kindai Eiga Kyokai, where he worked as an assistant director under such directors as Kaneto Shindō, Kōzaburō Yoshimura, and Tadashi Imai. He made his directorial debut in 1971 with the children's film '' Koi no iru mura''. His second film, '' Futatsu no hāmonika'' (1976), earned him a New Directors Citation from the Directors Guild of Japan. His 1983 film '' Hometown'' was entered into the 13th Moscow International Film Festival. His 1987 film, '' Hachiko Monogatari'', about the faithful dog Hachikō, was the top Japanese film at the box office that year. He is known for his humanistic perspective. Nana Okada (Japanese Idol)
is a Japanese singer and actress, represented by Avex Asunaro. She is a member of the girl group AKB48 and a former member of STU48. She has been a fixture in AKB48's major single lineups since 2016 and is considered one of the best singers in the group. She announced her departure from the group on November 23, 2022 with undecided graduation date. Okada joined AKB48 in 2012, and since 2016 has been part of the group's main lineup, performing in all the title tracks of their singles, including twice as lead singer. Kōjirō Kusanagi
was a Japanese actor. Biography He began acting at the Yoshi Hijikatas theatre Company after dropping out of Nihon University. Kusanagi made his film debut in 1953 in ''Yoake Mae'' directed by Kōzaburō Yoshimura. In 1956, he starred in ''Darkness at Noon'', which was based on the true story of an innocent man arrested, tried and executed for a crime he didn't commit. Kusanagi appeared in over 40 films, mostly in supporting roles, in films such as ''Alone on the Pacific'', '' The Sun'', '' Bee Bop High School'', and '' The Man Who Stole the Sun''. Kusanagi died of pneumonia on November 11, 2007, aged 78. Kirin Kiki
(15 January 1943 – 15 September 2018) was a Japanese actress for Japanese cinema and television. Biography Kiki was born on January 15, 1943, in Kanda, Tokyo. Her father was a master of the ''biwa'' lute and a former police officer. Her mother owned a cafe in Jinbōchō, Tokyo and a restaurant in Noge, Yokohama, the latter being Kiki's maternal parents' home. Her mother was seven years senior to her father and had a child from both her two previous marriages. After graduating from high school, she started her acting career in the early 1960s as a member of the Bungakuza theater troupe using the stage name Chiho Yūki (悠木千帆).
