Homecoming (Short Stack Album)
''Homecoming'' is the third studio album by Australian pop punk band Short Stack and first released through Mercury/Universal Music. The album was released on 21 August 2015 and peaked at number 5 on the ARIA charts, becoming the band's second top five album. Background and release Short Stack were founded in 2005 by Shaun Diviney (lead vocals, guitar), Andy Clemmensen (backing vocals, bass) and Bradie Webb (drums), who met as students at the Hunter School of the Performing Arts. The band released two studio albums and toured with acts as Simple Plan, McFly, The Veronicas and Good Charlotte. After a two year break from 2012-2014, Short Stack recommenced writing and subsequently and in April 2014 released the single "Television". Short Stack
Short Stack are an Australian pop punk band. The band consists of members Shaun Diviney (lead vocals, guitar), Andy Clemmensen (bass, backing vocals) and Bradie Webb (drums). Shannon Hotchkins was also a member of Short Stack before any song was performed or recorded. Short Stack were twice named Channel V Oz Artist of the Year, and produced two gold-selling albums, three top ten singles, a ARIA number one chart award and a platinum-selling single. The group split in 2012, and their former label released ''Art Vandelay'' the following year without any promotion. In April 2014, the band announced their reformation and shortly released "Television". "Amy" was released as the lead single from third studio album ''Homecoming'' in August 2015. Simple Plan
Simple Plan is a Canadian rock band from Montreal, Quebec, formed in 1999. The band's lineup consists of Pierre Bouvier (lead vocals, studio bass guitar), Chuck Comeau (drums), Jeff Stinco (lead guitar), and Sébastien Lefebvre (rhythm guitar, backing vocals), with all four performing with the group since its inception. David Desrosiers (bass guitar, backing vocals) joined the band in early 2000 and departed in July 2020 due to sexual misconduct accusations. Good Charlotte is an American rock band from Waldorf, Maryland that formed in 1996. Since 2005, the band's lineup has consisted of twin brothers Joel Madden (lead vocals) and Benji Madden (guitar and vocals), Paul Thomas (bass), Billy Martin (guitar and keyboards), and Dean Butterworth (drums and percussion). The Veronicas
The Veronicas is an Australian pop duo from Brisbane. The group was formed in 2004 by identical twin sisters Lisa and Jessica Origliasso. In 2005, the Veronicas released their debut studio album, titled '' The Secret Life of...'', which peaked at number two on the Australian Album Chart and was certified 4× platinum by Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) for selling over 280,000 copies. McFly
McFly are an English pop rock band formed in London in 2003. The band took their name from the '' Back to the Future'' character Marty McFly. The band consists of Tom Fletcher (lead vocals, guitar, and piano), Danny Jones (lead vocals, harmonica, and guitar), Dougie Poynter (bass guitar, vocals) and Harry Judd (drums). They were signed to Island Records from their 2004 launch until December 2007, before creating their own label, Super Records. Mercury Records is an American record label owned by Universal Music Group. It had significant success as an independent operation in the 1940s and 1950s. Pop punk (or punk pop) is a rock music genre that combines elements of punk rock with power pop or pop.
