Holy Spirit Hospital is a Charitable Trust Hospital located in Andheri, Mumbai, owned and managed by the Missionary Sisters Servants of the Holy Spirit, which began in 1964 as an out-patient clinic. History In 1964, four nuns from the Netherlands-based Missionary Sisters Servants of the Holy Spirit established an outpatient medication dispensary under a tree in Andheri. By 1967 they had developed a 65-bed hospital which eventually grew to a comprehensive 300-bed facility. Later, a dirt track path between the Mahakali Caves and the hospital was replaced by a road extension from Chakala. BEST provided a twice-daily bus service at the hospital's request. Chakala
Chakala is a locality in the suburb of Andheri in Mumbai. It had a station on the Salsette–Trombay Railway, which was dismantled after the rail line closed down in 1934. It is served by the Western Express Highway and Chakala stations on Line 1 of the Mumbai Metro. The locality draws its name from ''Chaquelem'', one of the 13 villages in the vicinity of Marol that converted to Catholicsm in 1588 after the advent of the Portuguese on Salsette Island. Raphael Cheenath (29 December 1934 – 14 August 2016) was the archbishop of Cuttack-Bhubaneswar, India. He was ordained as a priest of the Society of the Divine Word on 21 September 1963 and appointed bishop of Sambalpur Sambalpur () is the fifth largest city in the Indian State of Odisha. The Brihanmumbai Electricity Supply and Transport Undertaking (BEST) is a civic transport and electricity provider public body based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. It was originally set up in 1873 as a tramway company called "Bombay Tramway Company Limited". The company set up a captive thermal power station at the Wadi bunder in November 1905 to generate electricity for its trams and positioned it to also supply electricity to the city and re-branded itself to "Bombay Electric Supply & Tramways (BEST)" Company. Mahakali Caves
The Kondivite Caves, also Mahakali Caves, are a group of 19 rock-cut monuments built between 1st century BCE and 6th century CE. This Buddhist monastery is located in the eastern suburb of Andheri in the city of Mumbai (Bombay) in western India. The monument consists of two groups of rock-cut caves – 4 caves more to the north-west and 15 caves more to the south-east. Most caves are viharas and cells for monks, but Cave 9 of the south-eastern group is chaitya. Caves in the northwest have been created mainly in the 4th – 5th century, while the south-eastern group is older. The monument contains also rock-cut cisterns and remnants of other structures. Caves are carved out of a solid black basalt rock,(volcanic trap breccias, prone to weathering).
