Holy Family (TV Series)
''Holy Family'' ( es, Sagrada familia, links=no) is a thriller drama television series created by Manolo Caro for Netflix. It stars Najwa Nimri and Alba Flores alongside Macarena Gómez, Ella Kweku, Carla Campra, Álex García, Iván Pellicer, and Álvaro Rico. It received a streaming release on 14 October 2022. It was renewed for a second and final season on 15 November 2022 which premiered on 17 November 2023. Plot The plot starts in Melilla in 1998. It later moves to the well-off neighborhood of Fuente del Berro. The relationship of friendship forged between different women (all mothers) is upended by the haunting past of one of them, Gloria (a purported single mother living with her son and her childminder Aitana) and a new arrival to the neighborhood. Manolo Caro
Manolo Caro (born 1985) is a Mexican director, known for films including ''Tales of an Immoral Couple'' and the Netflix series '' The House of Flowers'' and ''Someone Has To Die''. He also directed the film '' Perfect Strangers''. All of these star Caro's frequent collaborator Cecilia Suárez. Early life He was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, in 1985, son of Norma Alicia Serrano and Gil Caro. He studied architecture at the TEC de Monterrey, Mexico City campus, and later studied directing at the International Film School of San Antonio de los Baños, in Cuba, and at the studio of Juan Carlos Corazza, in Madrid.
