Holmen IF
Holmen Idrettsforening is a Norwegian sports club from Holmen in northern Asker, Norway. It has sections for football, handball, and cross-country skiing. Its home ground is Holmen idrettspark. The club was founded in 1918, at that time having sections for football, athletics and ski jumping. More sports were later added to the club, notably ice hockey as Holmen IF was one of the founding members of the Norwegian Ice Hockey Federation in 1934, as well as tennis Tennis is a racket sport that is played either individually against a single opponent ( singles) or between two teams of two players each ( doubles). Asker ( no, Asker), properly called Askerbygda in Norwegian, is a district and former Municipalities of Norway, municipality in Akershus, Norway. The Norwegian Ice Hockey Association (in Norwegian, ''Norges Ishockeyforbund'' (NIHF) is the governing body of all ice hockey, sledge hockey and in-line hockey in Norway.
