Holly Harris
Holly Harris (born 2 November 2002) is an Australian figure skater who currently competes in ice dance. With her skating partner, Jason Chan, she is the 2019 Australian national champion. As a singles skater, she qualified to the final segment at the 2017 World Junior Championships and finished 23rd overall. She is the 2016 Volvo Open Cup junior silver medalist and the 2016 Australian junior national champion. Career Singles career After winning the Australian novice title for two consecutive seasons, Harris made her international competitive debut in the 2016–17 season, beginning on the Junior Grand Prix, where she placed eleventh at the JGP Germany. 2020 World Figure Skating Championships
The 2020 World Figure Skating Championships were scheduled to be held in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, from March 16 to March 22, 2020. Figure skaters would have competed for the title of world champion in men's singles, ladies' singles, pairs, and ice dance. This would have been the first time that Montreal hosted the World Figure Skating Championships since 1932. The competition was supposed to determine the entry quotas for each federation at the 2021 World Championships. The competition was cancelled on March 11 due to concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic, with the possibility of being held later in the year, but not within the current season. It was the second time the event had been cancelled for reasons other than a World War, after the 1961 World Championships were cancelled following the Sabena Flight 548 crash. Andrew Dodds (born 2 August 1991) is an Australian figure skater who competes in both men's singles and ice dance. As a single skater, he is a three-time Australian national silver medalist and has competed in the final segment at four Four Continents Championships. As an ice dancer with partner Chantelle Kerry, he is a two-time Australian national champion (2017, 2018) and has appeared at two Four Continents. As an ice dancer with Andrew Dodds, she is a two-time Australian national champion and has competed at two Four Continents Championships. Earlier in her career, she competed in ladies' singles. Concussion
A concussion, also known as a mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI), is a head injury that temporarily affects brain functioning. Symptoms may include loss of consciousness (LOC); memory loss; headaches; difficulty with thinking, concentration, or balance; nausea; blurred vision; sleep disturbances; and mood changes. Any of these symptoms may begin immediately, or appear days after the injury. Concussion should be suspected if a person indirectly or directly hits their head and experiences any of the symptoms of concussion. 2016–17 ISU Junior Grand Prix
The 2016–17 ISU Junior Grand Prix was the 20th season of a series of junior international competitions organized by the International Skating Union. It was the junior-level complement to the 2016–17 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Skaters competed for medals in the disciplines of men's single skating, singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dance, as well as for qualifying points. The top six skaters or teams from each discipline met at the 2016–17 Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final, 2016–17 Junior Grand Prix Final, which was held together with the senior final.
