Hollie Thomson
Hollie Thomson (born 25 December 1986) is a Scottish former football midfielder who played for Scottish Women's Premier League (SWPL) clubs Hamilton Academical, Hibernian, Rangers and Motherwell. She has represented the Scotland women's national football team at youth and senior level. Early life Thomson's father Bobby was also a footballer. She was born and grew up in England, where Bobby had played for Blackpool. Club career In 2008 Thomson emulated her father Bobby by signing for Hibernian: "I always strive to get better and when Hibs asked me to join I didn't think twice about it. Hibernian is a big and very successful club and I wanted to be part of that." In 2013 she transferred to Rangers, after falling into dispute with the manager of Hibernian. Veritas Stadion is an association football stadium in Turku, Finland. It is situated in the district of Kupittaa, in an area dedicated to sporting venues. The stadium serves as the home venue for FC Inter Turku and Turun Palloseura playing in Finland's premier football league, the ''Veikkausliiga''. The stadium underwent an expansion in 2009, when a stand with 1,644 seats was built to meet the demands for the UEFA Women's Euro 2009. The Finland women's national football team, also known as nickname The Boreal Owls ( fi, Helmarit), represents Finland in international women's football. An own goal, also called a self goal, is where a player performs actions that result in them or their team scoring a goal on themselves, often resulting in a point for the opposing team, such as when a football player kicks a ball into their own net or goal, awarding the other team a point. The 2005 UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship was the holding of the UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship in Hungary from July 20–31, 2005. Russia won this edition of the competition in the final against France. UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship
The UEFA European Women's Under-19 Championship or simply UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship, is a competition in women's football for European national teams of players under 19 years of age. National under-19 teams whose countries belong to the European governing body UEFA can register to enter the competition.
