Sheridan County is a county in the U.S. state of Nebraska. As of the 2010 United States Census, the population was 5,469. Its county seat is Rushville. The county was formed in 1885, and was named for General Philip H. Sheridan. The Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad was a railroad that operated in the Midwestern United States. Hoffland or Hovland is a village in Ålesund Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The village is located on the western end of the island of Ellingsøya, about northeast of the town of Ålesund and about west of the village of Myklebost.
