''Hiy Kalaayah Edheythee'' is a Maldivian romantic famil drama web series directed by Mohamed Aboobakuru. It stars Ali Usam, Mariyam Sana and Mohamed Emau in main roles. The first episode of the series was released on 28 March 2023. The series follows a love triangle between Fazna, her boss, Shahid and boyfriend, Mahid. As Fazna pursues a new relationship with Shahid, her mother's growing obsession with him leads to dangerous consequences. Ali Usam
Ali Usam, commonly known as Dhona, is a Maldivian film actor, model and TV presenter. Career Usam began his professional career as a model in 2009 before starting to work as a host in several television shows. He made his career debut in Ravee Farooq-directed web series ''Ehenas'' which follows the experiences of a long-term domestic and sexually abused male victim and how he faces the societal obstacles of marriage. Aishath Maahaa reviewing from ''Dho?'' was generally impressed with the acting performance of the newcomers including Usam, though he had a very brief role. He then played the role of a politician who is competing for a seat in People's Majlis, in Yoosuf Shafeeu's comedy drama series '' Huvaa Kohfa Bunan''. Ali Farooq
Ali Farooq (born 18 March 1954) is a Maldivian actor. Career In 2006, he collaborated with Amjad Ibrahim for romantic drama film '' Hithuge Edhun'' (2006), which tells the story of a disabled man, with Farooq playing the role of the father of Shaniya, a caring wife who conceals the truth about her first marriage. He then appeared in Ali Shifau's suspense thriller '' Happy Birthday'' (2009) which centers around a man who receives a birthday call informing him that his wife and son have been kidnapped and will be released in exchange for a ransom. Although the film received positive critical acclaim, it struggled at the box office. In 2014, Farooq worked with Ahmed Nimal's ''Aniyaa'', alongside Niuma Mohamed, Mohamed Jumayyil, Ismail Rasheed and Fathimath Fareela. Ali Shazleem
Ali Shazleem is a Maldivian film actor, director and producer. Career Shazleem made his film debut in the Aishath Fuad Thaufeeq-directed '' Hulhudhaan'' (2014) alongside Mariyam Majudha, which was a critical success. The film was later screened at the Venice Film Festival. Though ''Hulhudhaan'' was released earlier, Shazleem's first project was Maldivian first anthology film '' Hatharu Halha'' which got delayed till 2019. Hussain Sobah
Hussain Sobah (11 November 1972) is a Maldivian film actor, music composer and playback singer. Career In 1995, Sobah featured in Mohamed Shiyaz's '' Dhushman'' alongside Mariyam Nisha, Aminath Rasheedha and Hamid Ali in pivotal roles. In the film, he plays the character Riyaz, an underprivileged young man who loses his girlfriend over social discrimination. Hamid Ali's '' Badhal'' was released in 1996, in which he starred alongside Ali, Niuma Mohamed and Waleedha Waleed as a twin; a mentally challenged young man with an immature attitude.
