Hisham Talaat Moustafa
Hisham Talat Moustafa ( ar, هشام طلعت مصطفى) (born December 12, 1959) is an Egyptian realtor and former chairman and head of the Real Estate Branch of the Talaat Moustafa Group. He had been elected in 2004 to the Shura Council in the Parliament of Egypt. In 2007 his net worth was estimated at $800 million, with multiple Credit Suisse accounts per Suisse secrets, even after he was arrested in September 2008 and found guilty in May 2009 in the murder of Lebanese singer Suzanne Tamim. His sentence to death by hanging was overturned on a legal technicality. Following a retrial in 2010, he was sentenced to 15 years' imprisonment. El Rehab ( ar, مدينة الرحاب , literal meaning: "City of Spaciousness") is a district of New Cairo and a part of Greater Cairo, in the Cairo Governorate, Egypt. Ali Gomaa ( ar, علي جمعة, Egyptian Arabic: ) is an Egyptian Islamic scholar, Jurist, and public figure who has taken a number of controversial political stances. Grand Mufti
The Grand Mufti (also called Chief Mufti, State Mufti and Supreme Mufti) is the head of regional muftis, Islamic jurisconsults, of a state. The office originated in the early modern era in the Ottoman empire and has been later adopted in a number of modern countries. Muftis are Islamic jurists qualified to issue a nonbinding opinion (''fatwa'') on a point of Islamic law (''sharia''). In the 15th century, muftis of the Ottoman empire, who had acted as independent scholars in earlier times, began to be integrated into a hierarchical bureaucracy of religious institutions and scholars. Mohsen Al-Sukkari
Mohsen al-Sukkari ( ar, محسن السكري), is an Egyptian former police officer who, on 28 July 2008 murdered the well-known Lebanese artist Suzanne Tamim in Dubai, UAE on orders of Egyptian business tycoon and member of the Egyptian Parliament Hisham Talaat Moustafa in return for $2 million paid by Moustafa, according to statements made by the murderer to the investigators in Cairo. Consequently the parliamentary immunity was dropped from Mr. Moustafa and he was arrested and charged. Both Al-Sukkari and Moustafa were tried for the murder. On 21 May 2009, Al-Sukkari was consequently found guilty for pre-meditated murder. Moustafa on the other hand was found guilty of involvement in the murder through "incitement, agreement and assistance.". On 25 June 2008, the Cairo court sentenced both Al Sukkari and Moustafa to death by hanging.
