Hiraya FC was a Filipino women's football club that played in the PFF Women's League, the top women's football league in the Philippines. The club was founded by Philippine international player, Hanna Maiya Ibarra. They also participated in the 7's Football League and have won the women's division title in the fourth overall season. PFF Women's League
The PFF Women's League (PFFWL) is the top-flight of women's association football in the Philippines. History To follow up with the PFF Women's Cup which was launched in 2014, the PFF Women's League was launched on November 5, 2016, by the Philippine Football Federation (PFF). The competition became the first to follow a league format following the folding of the Pinay Futbol League in 2013 and became the first women's domestic league in the country. The league sanctioned by PFF as an amateur league as part of ''FIFA's Women's Development Project'' for the Philippines. Prior to the league's establishment, the primary competition for women's football in the Philippines was the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). Most of the teams that are participating at the inaugural 2016–17 season were either from the UAAP or alumni teams. The 7's Football League (7s FL), also known as the AIA 7's Football League due to sponsorship with insurance company AIA Philippines, is a seven-a-side football league in the Philippines. Established in 2018, the league already had four seasons. It has a two-tiered men's division, a women's division, and youth divisions. 2019–20 PFF Women's League
The 2019–20 PFF Women's League season is the third season of the women's national league of the Philippines following the 2018 season. De La Salle University is the defending champions. Format The league adopted a double round-robin format with a projected 90 matches to be played from July 27, 2019. The primary venue for the league's matches is the PFF National Training Centre in Carmona, Cavite. Matches will be usually held in the weekends with select matches to be held during the weekdays. The league's first round ran until mid-October 2019 with the second round beginning on October 19, 2019. Though initially planned to last until December 2019, the league season's duration was extended to the following year with the first matches of 2020 to be held on January 11, 2020. The PFF Women's Cup is the national women's football cup of the Philippines organized by the Philippine Football Federation. History The inaugural edition was launched in 2014 by the Philippine Football Federation (PFF) and was contested by 10 teams from June to July. The cup was played in a 9-a-side format with two halves of 25 minutes. The following teams participated at the inaugural 9-a-side edition with their division in the group stage: The following edition in 2015 was played in full 90 minutes with 11 field players on each team. 10 teams participated in the match mostly composed by University varsity and alumni teams. The 2016–17 PFF Women's League season is the inaugural of the women's national league of the Philippines. The season started on November 12, 2016 and ended on November 20, 2017. The De La Salle University secured the league title on their first second round match against OutKast winning over the latter, 3–0. Format The league follows a double round robin format. 2018 PFF Women's League
The 2018 PFF Women's League season is the second season of the women's national league of the Philippines following the 2016–17 season. The organization of a second season for the league was reported as early as July 2018. Ten clubs participated for the second season which will run from August 25 to November 11 2018, with De La Salle Zobel and Tuloy F.C. making their debuts. The University of Santo Tomas and the De La Salle University played against each other in the ''de facto'' final on November 11, 2018 where the latter won 2–1 over the former.
