Hippy Gourmet
''The Hippy Gourmet TV Show'' is a United States Public Television Series that airs nationally on Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) and public-access television cable stations. The show is based in the Haight-Ashbury area of San Francisco, but travels the world highlighting organic production, organic, sustainable agriculture, alternative energy and people making a difference for a better world. The series is known for its use of instrumental jam-band music from such bands as Transcendental Hayride and Rek. The History of the TV show ''The Hippy Gourmet'' began as a pilot filmed at Burning Man in the Fall of 2000. The show stars Bruce Brennan, a one time flower child and classically trained gourmet chef, who came out to the San Francisco area during the 1967 Summer of Love. Novato
Novato (Spanish for "Novatus") is a city in Marin County, California, in the North Bay region of the Bay Area. At the 2020 census, Novato had a population of 53,225. History What is now Novato was originally the site of several Coast Miwok villages: Chokecherry, near downtown Novato; Puyuku, near Ignacio; and Olómpali, at the present-day Olompali State Historic Park. Mexican era In 1839, the Mexican government granted the Rancho Novato to Fernando Feliz. Cooking Show
A cooking show, cookery show, or cooking program (also spelled cooking programme in British English) is a television genre that presents food preparation, often in a restaurant kitchen or on a studio set, or at the host's personal home. Typically the show's host, often a celebrity chef, prepares one or more dishes over the course of an episode, taking the viewing audience through the food's inspiration, preparation, and stages of cooking. Due to time and production constraints, most, if not all, cooking shows employ filming shortcuts such as video editing, food modeling and photography, and prepared ingredients to speed up the cooking process and ensure a smooth and seamless production. National Audubon Society
The National Audubon Society (Audubon; ) is an American non-profit environmental organization dedicated to conservation of birds and their habitats. Located in the United States and incorporated in 1905, Audubon is one of the oldest of such organizations in the world. There are completely independent Audubon Societies in the United States, which were founded several years earlier such as the Massachusetts Audubon Society and Connecticut Audubon Society.
