Himanshu Jangra
Himanshu Jangra (born 21 July 2004) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a forward for I-League club Delhi. He was included in The Guardian's "Next Generation" list for 2021. Career Early life and Youth career Himanshu Jangra is a product of Minerva Punjab academy, he joined Minerva Punjab in 2016 after being selected during a Trial in Chandigarh. But later in 2017 he made a mark in the Hero Sub Junior I League where he scored an impressive haul of 18 goals which attracted India national team scouts. The youngster continued his prolific form in the National leagues by scoring 9 goals and helping his team to win the Hero Junior I Leagues 2018-19 title. Later in 2019, Himanshu was adjudged as the Most Valuable Player in the SAFF Under 15 Championship. He scoring two consecutive hattricks and secured Gold Medal for Team India. Indian Arrows
Indian Arrows (formerly known as Pailan Arrows) was an Indian developmental football club that competed in the I-League. The club was formed by the All India Football Federation in 2010, with a main goal of nurturing young Indian football talents. After disbanding in 2013, the project was revived as ''Indian Arrows'' in 2017. In September 2022, the technical committee of All India Football Federation decided to discontinue the participation of the Indian Arrows in the I-League because of the difficulty in fulfilling the AFC Licensing criteria. Kerala United Football Club is an Indian professional football club based in Malappuram, Kerala. Founded in 1976 as ''Calicut Quartz FC'', the club was an amateur and academy side during its early years. Kerala Blasters Football Club (), commonly referred to as The Blasters, is an Indian professional football club based in Kochi, Kerala, that competes in the Indian Super League, the top tier of football in India. The Indian Super League (ISL) is an Indian professional league for men's association football clubs. At the top of the Indian football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. Organised by the All India Football Federation (AIFF), and their commercial partners Football Sports Development Limited (FSDL), it is officially known as Hero Indian Super League for sponsorship ties with Hero MotoCorp. 2021 Durand Cup
The 2021 Durand Cup is the 130th edition of Durand Cup, the oldest football tournament in Asia. Like its previous edition, the tournament was hosted in West Bengal, instead of its traditional venue, Delhi. The tournament is jointly hosted by the Eastern Command of the Indian Armed Forces and the Government of West Bengal. The Durand Cup was cancelled in 2020 due to worldwide COVID-19 pandemic and was reorganised in 2021 after a year gap. Gokulam Kerala were the defending champions, having defeated Mohun Bagan in the 2019 final. Mohammedan SC made their first Durand Cup final appearance since 2013 against debutants FC Goa. 2021 I-League Qualifiers
The 2021 I-League Qualifiers or Hero I-League Qualifiers 2021 (for sponsorship reasons) was the 14th season of I-League 2nd Division since its establishment in 2008. The league winner secured place in 2021–22 I-League season. Subrata Dutta, senior vice president of All India Football Federation, and AIFF league committee members held its meeting on June 26, 2021, agreeing that state associations which have conducted a league or qualifying championship, will be eligible to nominate teams for the qualifiers. Even though states are allowed to nominate two teams, the AIFF said each state association will be represented by just one team in I-League qualifiers. The Delhi Football League is organised by Football Delhi (FD) as a ladder-based state football competition involving a total of four divisions and over 80 teams in the Indian state of Delhi. Delhi Premier League is the top-division, started in 1948 as DSA Senior Division.
