2021 Delhi 2nd Division Qualifiers
The 2021 Delhi 2nd Division Qualifiers was a qualification tournament for the 2021 I-League Qualifiers organized by Football Delhi. The qualification tournament was originally set to begin from May, but it was postponed and kicked off on July 17. The 10 teams were divided into two groups. The top two teams from each group are advancing to the semi-finals. Ansumana Kromah
Ghanefo Ansumana Agogo Kromah (born 24 December 1993), known professionally as Ansumana Kromah, is a Liberian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Bodoland. Career Kromah made his professional debut in India, playing for Peerless SC in Calcutta Football League. 2019 FD Senior Division
The 2019 FD Senior Division is the top tier football league in the state of Delhi. The season started on Saturday, 10th March 2019. Format 16 teams are divided in two groups, comprising 8 teams in group A and 8 teams in group B. Group stage matches will be played in robin round basis. Four teams from each group will qualify for super 8. Premier League will be played in round robin format. 8 teams will play each other once and league leader will be adjudged the winner. Bottom teams could be relegated to lower division. The 2021–22 FD Senior Division was the top-tier football season of Delhi Football League. The season started on October 9, 2021, and commenced on January 7, 2022. Previously, a short format tournament was held for the I-League Qualifiers. Format 18 teams are divided in two groups, comprising 10 teams in group A and 8 teams in group B. Group stage matches will be played in robin round basis. Five teams from each group will qualify for the inaugural Delhi Premier League. DSA Senior Division
The Delhi Football League is organised by Football Delhi (FD) as a ladder-based state football competition involving a total of four divisions and over 80 teams in the Indian state of Delhi. Delhi Premier League is the top-division, started in 1948 as DSA Senior Division. History The first parent body of Delhi football was formed in 1926, with professor Mohammed Zubair Qureishi as secretary. There was no proper local league but the clubs used to participate in private tournaments organised by sport enthusiasts. 2021 I-League Qualifiers
The 2021 I-League Qualifiers or Hero I-League Qualifiers 2021 (for sponsorship reasons) was the 14th season of I-League 2nd Division since its establishment in 2008. The league winner secured place in 2021–22 I-League season. Subrata Dutta, senior vice president of All India Football Federation, and AIFF league committee members held its meeting on June 26, 2021, agreeing that state associations which have conducted a league or qualifying championship, will be eligible to nominate teams for the qualifiers. Even though states are allowed to nominate two teams, the AIFF said each state association will be represented by just one team in I-League qualifiers. The AIFF has made it clear that only those states which conduct a league will be allowed to nominate a team. At least two states made direct recommendations, but were turned down.
