Hilutangan Channel
Hilutangan Channel (or Gilutungan Channel) is a deep water channel that separates Mactan Island from Olango Island. ThMactan Reef Flatlies on the port (left) side of this channel and thOlango Reef Flatlies on the starboard (right) side of this channel. It is one of the three channels that connect the Cebu Strait to the Camotes Sea: *the Mactan Channel (which separates Cebu from Mactan) *the Hilutangan Channel (which separates Mactan from Olango) *the Olango Channel (which separates Olango from Bohol). Central Visayas ( ceb, Tunga-tungang Kabisay-an; tl, Gitnang Kabisayaan) is an administrative region in the Philippines, numerically designated as Region VII. It consists of four provinces: (Cebu, Bohol, Negros Oriental, and Siquijor) and three highly urbanized cities: Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu, and Mandaue). Major islands are the eponymous Cebu, Bohol, and Siquijor, together with the eastern part of Negros. The regional center and largest city is Cebu City. Tañon Strait
The Tañon Strait ( fil, Kipot ng Tañon) is a body of water, separating the islands of Negros and Cebu in the Visayas, Philippines. The strait, which is about long, connects the Visayan Sea in the north to the Bohol Sea in the south. Its width varies from , with the narrowest point in the south. In the north the strait is closed off by the Don Islands, the largest of which is Bantayan. Canigao Channel
Canigao Channel is a strait in the Central Visayan and Eastern Visayan regions in the Philippines. This strait separates the islands of Bohol and Leyte, while the Cebu Strait separates Bohol and Cebu. Thus, the Camotes Sea is connected to the Bohol Sea both by the Canigao Channel (east of Bohol) and Cebu Strait (west of Bohol). The Olango Island Group is a group of islands found in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines. Mactan Channel
The Mactan Channel, also known as Opon Channel, is the strait between the island of Cebu and the smaller Mactan Island. The body of water is located within Metro Cebu, separating Mandaue and Cebu City in mainland Cebu from Lapu-Lapu City on Mactan.
