Hilmi İşgüzar
Hilmi İşgüzar (born 1929 in Yozgat, Turkey) is a Turkish politician and former government minister. Early life Hilmi İşgüzar was born to Mehmet İşgüzar and his wife Havva in 1929. He was educated in Forestry and Law at Ankara University. He earned a master's degree from the School of Forestry and Water at Nancy-Université in France. He worked as a lawyer before he entered politics. Politics career Hilmi İşgüzar joined Nation Party (MP) led by Osman Bölükbaşı and elected in the 1965 general election into the parliament representing Sinop Province. In the 1977 general election , he entered the parliament as deputy of Sinop Province from Justice Party (AP). In December 1977, he left Justice Party along with eleven party members to enter the coalition cabinet of Bülent Ecevit as Minister of Social Security on January 5, 1978. Ministry Of Labour And Social Security (Turkey)
The Ministry of Labour and Social Security ( tr, Çalışma ve Sosyal Güvenlik Bakanlığı) is a government ministry office of the Republic of Turkey, responsible for labour and social security affairs in Turkey. The ministry is headed by Vedat Bilgin. History Initially, the ministry was formed as the Office of Labour and Labourers within the Ministry of Economy upon Act of Parliament No. 2450, which came into force on 27 May 1934. As a governmental ministry, it was established on June 22, 1945 with the Act of Parliament No. 4763. In 1983, the Ministry of Labour and the Ministry of Social Security were merged into the Ministry of Labour and Social Security. In 2018, the ministry was merged with the Ministry of Family and Social Policy. This merger was undone in 2021, making the Labour and Social Security related tasks headed by a separate minister again. NTV (Turkey)
NTV is a Turkish nationwide television news channel owned by Doğuş Media Group. It was partnered with MSNBC between May 2000 and 2014. Besides domestic and international news, the channel's programming includes documentaries, as well as programs on finance, arts and culture, lifestyle, and sports.
