Bradford Hill
Bradford R. Hill (born January 22, 1967) is an American politician and current member of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission. Prior to his service on the commission, Hill represented the 4th Essex district in the Massachusetts House of Representatives from 1999 to 2021. John Edward Christopher Hill (6 February 1912 – 23 February 2003) was an English Marxist historian and academic, specialising in 17th-century English history. From 1965 to 1978 he was Master of Balliol College, Oxford. Early life Christopher Hill was born on 6 February 1912, Bishopthorpe Road, York, to Edward Harold Hill and Janet Augusta ('' née'' Dickinson). His father was a solicitor and the family were devout Methodists. He attended St Peter's School, York. At the age of 16, he sat his entrance examination at Balliol College, Oxford. The two history tutors who marked his papers recognised his ability and offered him a place in order to forestall any chance he might go to the University of Cambridge. Carole E. Hill is an American anthropologist and educator. She is a professor emerita at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia. Arthur Blundell Sandys Trumbull Hill, 3rd Marquess of Downshire KP (8 October 1788 – 12 September 1845) was an Anglo-Irish peer, styled Viscount Fairford from 1789 until 1793 and Earl of Hillsborough from 1793 to 1801. Early life He was born in Hanover Square, the eldest son of Arthur Hill, 2nd Marquess of Downshire, and his wife, Mary Sandys. He became Marquess of Downshire on the early death of his father in 1801. He was educated at Eton and Christ Church, Oxford, gaining his MA in 1809 and a DCL in 1810. Arthur Hill, 2nd Marquess of Downshire PC, FRS (3 March 1753 – 7 September 1801), styled Viscount Fairford until 1789 and Earl of Hillsborough from 1789 to 1793, was a British peer and MP. Life Hill was the eldest son of Wills Hill, 1st Earl of Hillsborough (later Marquess of Downshire). He matriculated at Magdalen College, Oxford in 1771, and received his M.A. in 1773. Hill sat as a Tory for the rotten borough of Lostwithiel from 1774 to 1780, and then for Malmesbury until 1784. He also represented Down in the Parliament of Ireland from 1776 until succeeding to the peerage in 1793. Hill enjoyed a number of civil and military appointments in both England and Ireland during this period. Carl Alexander Gibson-Hill (23 October 1911 – 18 August 1963) was a British medical doctor, naturalist, ornithologist and curator of Singapore’s Raffles Museum. His main interest, area of expertise and legacy of published knowledge was the natural, geographical and cultural history of Malaya, Singapore and the historically associated Christmas Island and Cocos (Keeling) Islands. Calvin G. Hill (born January 2, 1947) is a retired American football player. He played running back in the National Football League (NFL) for twelve seasons. Hill played for the Dallas Cowboys, Washington Redskins, and Cleveland Browns. He also played a season with The Hawaiians of the World Football League (WFL) in 1975. Hill was named to the Pro Bowl four times (1969, 1972, 1973, and 1974).
