Hijitsuryokuha Sengen
is the fourth studio album by Japanese singer/songwriter Chisato Moritaka, released on July 25, 1989 by Warner Pioneer. It features two versions of Moritaka's cover of the 1971 Saori Minami song "17-sai". The album is themed around Moritaka's awareness of being an idol, with songs addressing her flaws, failed romances, and interactions with her fans. The album peaked at No. 2 on Oricon's albums chart and sold over 216,000 copies. It was also Moritaka's first album to be certified Gold by the RIAJ. Carnation (Japanese Band)
is a Japanese rock band founded by Masahiro Naoe in 1983. During their heyday, they were dubbed "the Japanese XTC" due to their similar styles. History Masahiro Naoe (then known as Masataro Naoe) formed the band in 1981. is the debut single by Japanese rock band Carnation. Written by band founder Masataro Naoe, the single was released independently in November 1984. The band re-recorded the song for the CD release of their 1988 album ''Gong Show''. They once again re-recorded the song in 2004 as the B-side of their 20th anniversary single "Angel". (born Eikichi Watanabe, 28 May 1940 - 7 October 2020), was a Japanese composer, record producer and arranger. Tsutsumi began his career as a songwriter about 1966, and he came to prominence as a composer of Ayumi Ishida's chart-topping hit "Blue Light Yokohama" in the late 1960s.
