Highway H08 (Ukraine)
H08 is an important Ukraine national highway ( H-highway) in Kyiv, Cherkasy, Poltava, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk Oblasts. H08 begins in Boryspil, passes through Pereyaslav, Zolotonosha, Hradyzk, Kremenchuk, Verkhnodniprovsk, Kamianske and Dnipro. Until 9 August 2017, the highway ended in the city of Zaporizhzhia, but a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers changed its final destination to Mariupol. In October 2020, work began on the construction of the southern bypass of Dnipro (7 km long). The new road will connect the H08 motorway with the South Bridge, then the M18- E105 international highway, as well as the junction with the new airport. Boryspil
Boryspil ( uk, Бориспіль, translit. ''Boryspil'') is a city and the administrative center of Boryspil Raion in Kyiv Oblast (region) in northern (central) Ukraine. It hosts the administration of Boryspil urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. The population was estimated as Name Official sources state that the city derives its name from Prince Boris, of Boris and Gleb, two sons of Vladimir the Great, who were both murdered during the internecine wars of 1015–1019. According to Petro Tronko in his History of cities and villages in Ukrainian SSR, the locality where Boryspil is located was named as "Borysove pole" (Borys's field) when in 1015 a son of Vladimir the Great Borys returning from another raid against Pechenegs died from hands of hired assassins. Verkhnodniprovsk
Verkhnodniprovsk (or Verkhnyodniprovsk, uk, Верхньодніпровськ, ; russian: Верхнеднепровск) is a city in Kamianske Raion, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast (province) of Ukraine. The city is located at confluence of the Samotkan into the Kamianske Reservoir at the Dnieper. Verkhnodniprovsk hosts the administration of Verkhnodniprovsk urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Population: In 2001, the population was 16,976. Until 18 July 2020, Verkhnodniprovsk was the administrative center of Verkhnodniprovsk Raion. The raion was abolished in July 2020 as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast to seven. The area of Verkhnodniprovsk Raion was merged into Kamianske Raion. European Route E105
E105 is part of the International E-road network, which is a series of main roads in Europe. It is a north–south reference road, meaning it crosses Europe from north to south and other E-road numbers have been calculated based on these reference roads. Highway M18 (Ukraine)
Highway M18 is a Ukrainian international highway ( M-highway) connecting Kharkiv to the southern coast of Crimea in Yalta. The highway is also has an alternative route ( M29) which runs parallel and designed as an expressway between Kharkiv and Novomoskovsk. The section from Novomoskovsk to Yalta is part of European route E105. The section from Kharkiv to Krasnohrad was previously P51. The section between Yalta and the border of Crimea belongs to Crimea which has been annexed by Russia in 2014. Russia refers to the section in Crimea as 35A-002.
